Sanford, Michigan is about 10 miles northwest of the City of Midland and easily accessed via U.S. 10.  The quiet and charming little village has a population of just under 1000, restaurants, parks, and a plethora of additional charming features commonly associated with small town America.

Sanford Lake is a man-made reservoir with about 1250 acres.  It run more than 6 miles and has a splendid public park that kids and adults love.  A multimillion-dollar renovation was recently completed for the park. Tour Park.  Small boats (under 22 feet) enjoy access to most parts of the lake. Larger, louder, and deeper boats usually visit Wixom Lake, leaving Sanford more pleasant for owners and users.  An unusually high number of lakefront homeowners reside year-round on the lake (80% plus). That helps maintain higher confidence in property values, as owners take better care of their dwellings.
